Atlanta, GA – After heavy rains before and during the tournament…
the course at EastLake Golf Club was in pretty good condition.
And it provided the stage for a remarkable performance by Phil Mickelsen.
((I cannot believe that this golf course was hit with similar rains I've seen on the news—I just can't believe what the staff did here))
Mickelesen grabbed the lead and did what few golfers are able to do…
he held off a surging Tiger Woods.
((I like the way today went…I was two back and beat him by three))
Mickelsen won the tournament but by finishing second
Tiger Woods is the overall FedEX Cup champion…for that he
walks away with a 10-million dollar payout.
