Latisha Springer, who started Free99Fridge last year with one refrigerator of food, along with a passion to combat hunger amid the pandemic, says her operation has grown.
“We now have six refrigerators, five locations around Atlanta,” explained Springer. “The fridges are emptied every 1-2 hours after being filled, so it’s a constant cycle of filling and refilling.”
