The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Wednesday that the agency is looking into an officer shooting at a Kennesaw mall that resulted in the death of a 25-year-old Alabama man.
Cobb police officers were called to Town Center Mall at 2 p.m. after a department store employee reported a shoplifting incident.
According to GBI officials, when officers arrived at the location, they saw a man who matched the caller’s description walking across the mall parking lot.
