Sirish Subash cares about the planet and what happens to it. When he was eight years old, he learned about the effects of climate change and decided to act.

Education and advocacy are at the center of the now 13-year-old’s work. As a published author of two books about environmental issues and science, he talks to crowds about climate-related problems. He educates children and adults about pollution and the effects of climate change on biochemistry. Sirish says he also informs people on practical ways to fight climate change.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Sirish talked with show host Rose Scott about what small steps Georgians can take to address environmental hazards.
