Steps include taking a pictures of both sides of your license, along with pictures of your face, with verification taking up to two days.

For now, it can be used at 19 Airport TSA checkpoints around the country, including Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Most importantly, you still need to carry your physical driver’s license or state ID with you. Law enforcement will not accept any digital IDs and TSA could still ask for the physical copy of a license or ID.
