Georgia State University President Mark Becker recently announced he will leave his position at the end of this academic school year.

The university has transformed in many ways during Becker’s tenure, which began in 2009. Enrollment has increased, as have graduation rates and the total number of graduates.

On Friday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Becker joined host Rose Scott for a conversation about why he’s decided to leave his position.
