Georgian Chamber Players To Perform Heavenly Music Of Beethoven And Schubert

“It’s heaven,” is how violinist David Coucheron describes a piece by Schubert on the upcoming concert of The Georgian Chamber Players. The group began in 1984 as string principals from the Atlanta Symphony.

Christopher Rex, one of the founding players will perform with the ASO’s NEW principal cellist, Rainer Eudekis. So, it’s a cello-rich program, beginning with the Cello Sonata No.3 of Beethoven. Pianist Julie Coucheron explains why this work is extraordinary.  The Georgian Chamber Players will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday  in Kellett Chapel of Peachtree Presbyterian Church.
