Georgia's GOP Senate candidates align themselves with Trump's economic policies

Five Republicans are competing in the primary to take on the incumbent Democratic Sen. Jon Ossoff for one of Georgia’s U.S. Senate seats.

The May 19 primaries will determine the Republican Party candidate for November’s general election. From gas to health insurance, everywhere you look, prices just keep going up.

“There’s a lot of concern about inflation and affordability,” said Zachary Peskowitz, a professor of political science at Emory University. He says the rising cost of living could significantly impact the race.
