Gun ownership among Black women is rising

In 2021, 90% of gun retailers reported an increase in gun ownership among Black people, with an 87% increase among Black women.

Marchelle Davis, a self-defense firearms instructor and founder of My Sister’s Keeper Defense, has made empowerment and self-defense among women her personal and professional mission.

Davis views gun ownership within all communities as a serious choice and entreats interested buyers to reckon with its gravity deeply.
