The first of three Sweetgreen locations has arrived in Atlanta, and more may be on the way.
Sweetgreen opens its first Georgia outpost at Ponce City Market on June 8. The national health food chain valued at more than $1 billion plans to follow its local debut with restaurants at Lenox Square and Colony Square by the end of this year.
Nicolas Jammet, Jonathan Newman and Nathaniel Ru launched Sweetgreen in Washington, D.C. in 2007. The chain relocated its headquarters to Los Angeles in 2016.
