Veteran award-winning journalist Dan Schlossberg says Hank Aaron has been his hero since 1957.
He says the baseball great was kind, strived to set an example for others and illuminated the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Schlossberg talked with host Rose Scott about his new book, “HOME RUN KING: The Remarkable Record of Hank Aaron.” The book follows Aaron’s life from the segregated South to the professional baseball league.
