Immigration and Customs Enforcement has opened a satellite office around College Park to accommodate more administrative officers.

ICE spokesperson Lindsay Williams confirmed to WABE that more officials are working in the new office, but did not disclose the location. In addition to the new office, there’s an existing ICE field office on Ted Turner Drive in Atlanta.

The office is not part of a coordinated Department of Homeland Security operation, as seen in cities like Chicago and Minneapolis, but instead reflects the Trump administration’s increase in the number of immigration agents.
