Imani Winds at Clayton State University

Since 1997, the Grammy-nominated Imani Winds, have been performing the traditional wind quintet repertoire with European, African, Latin American and American music traditions.

Their performance on Friday, February 9th concludes a two-day residency at Spivey Hall, with this recital featuring the world premiere of a new work by internationally-renowned composer and Atlanta resident, Alvin Singleton. They will also perform new works byClayton State University composition students.
