Residents in one metro Atlanta county will soon see improvements to its transit system.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority announced Friday that it will invest $1 million for bus shelters and upgraded benches and train station bathrooms throughout DeKalb County.
MARTA will add 70 bus shelters each year for the next four years bringing the total new shelters to 350, DeKalb officials said in a news release.
