A musical form of yoga begins to take off with metro residents.
Atlanta, Ga – For centuries, the meditative effects of devotional chanting have played an important role in cultures around the world.
As our American culture becomes more frenetic, more and more people are turning to calming practices like yoga, and Kirtan (keer-ton)- its musical form of meditation, originating from Indian Sanskrit.
Here in Atlanta, the effects are beginning to resonate, as Susan Mittleman reports.
