Local college presidents discuss current civil rights movements and the role of student activism

From the Civil Rights Movement to voting issues to women’s rights, college students have often been on the frontlines, advocating for issues that matter to them.

It’s no different for the current class of students.

Dr. Helene Gayle, the president of Spelman College, Dr. Leocadia Zak, the president of Agnes Scott College, and Dr. Kathryn McClymond, the president of Oglethorpe University, are all charged with leading some of Atlanta’s academic institutions.
