The year 2025 continues to kick off with low temperatures expected throughout North and Central Georgia, according to National Weather Service Atlanta.
A wind advisory was expanded to include the regions at 4 a.m. Monday, and has been extended into early Tuesday morning.
Due to the cold winds, five metro Atlanta counties have announced plans to keep their warming centers open on Monday and several other days within this week.
