The Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is laughing along with the rest of the country about a viral video showing one of its buses blocking the view of the Georgia Dome implosion Monday Morning.

The bus drove right in front of a Weather Channel camera, stayed there for the 12 seconds as the massive structure came down, and drove off leaving only a dust cloud for the TV audience.

In a statement Tuesday Marta apologized to the weather channel “for unwittingly eclipsing their camera shot.”

The video went viral and internet memes showed MARTA buses driving up and blocking everything from memorable sports events to weather forecasts.

“A lot of people are having fun with it and we’re laughing along with them,” said MARTA spokeswoman Stephany Fisher. “It was a funny moment and its fun sharing it collectively,” she said.

Fisher said the driver of bus 1445 will not be made available for interviews. The driver, she said didn’t do anything wrong.
