MARTA is moving forward with three new transit-oriented developments along the East-West line.
On Thursday, the transit agency’s board of directors approved a resolution to seek architecture and engineering partners to work with MARTA in creating a master plan for the projects at H.E. Holmes, Kensington and Indian Creek stations.
A master plan “sets the stage,” said Debbie Frank, MARTA’s director of transit-oriented development (TOD). “It will support the direction for rezoning that’s needed at all three of the stations. It will allow for the opportunity to engage the community.”
