After being closed for several months, a 75-year-old Atlanta restaurant staple known for its made-from-scratch dishes, fresh vegetables and fried chicken is now back open and under new ownership.

On Tuesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Harold Martin Jr., one of the new owners of Mary Mac’s Tea Room, said the restaurant re-opened for dine-in, online ordering, and curbside pick-up just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday with safety measures and protocols in place to keep both staff and customers safe.
