'Plant. Eat. Repeat.' workshops teach Atlantans the benefits of home food gardening
If you’ve ever tasted fresh produce from a local farmer’s market and wished you could always get the best of the season right from the soil, maybe it’s time to consider growing your own food.
Teaching home food gardening to Atlantans is the pride and passion of Food Well Alliance, which hosts seasonal gardening workshops as part of their “Plant. Eat. Repeat.” series.
A new slate of fall workshops is coming up. In this interview, Atlanta Botanical Garden Community Programs Coordinator Brandon Brones and Food Well Alliance Volunteer Outreach Coordinator Flannery Pearson-Clark join “City Lights” host Lois Reitzes to discuss more.
Upcoming Events:
- Food Well Alliance (FWA): Great Southeast Pollinator Census weekend of Aug. 18 & 19 – foodwellalliance.org – on the home page
