Monday marks the start of the 2024 legislative session.

As the session gets underway, WABE politics reporters Sam Gringlas and Rahul Bali return to “Closer Look.”

Gringlas and Bali discussed several topics, including lawmakers’ priorities and proposed bills.

They also discussed debated issues that could potentially come up during the session, including gambling, redistricting, Medicaid and health care expansion, plus a possible cityhood movement in Gwinnett County.
