Atlanta — being the Olympic city that it is — earlier this year hosted the U.S. Olympic marathon trials.

The top runners from that contest were all set to go compete in Tokyo … until the coronavirus put the Olympics on hold.

And when WABE’s “All Things Considered” host Jim Burress got him on the line, he asked Galloway about recreational running during social distancing and whether his longtime Atlanta running stores can survive.

But Burress began the conversation by asking: How big of a deal is moving the Olympics to those who qualified here in Atlanta?
