Sarah Natochenny performed the English-dubbed voice for television series Pokémon’s Ash Ketchum for more than 18 years, before the story’s plotline shifted its focus on to other character’s adventures.
She still acts on the show as the voice of several of the ever-evolving fantasy creatures and the occasional human character, but she recently debuted in a new internationally known franchise, the latest Spiderman reboot.
Natochenny said in the new role on “Your Friendly Neighborhood Spiderman,” she gets to highlight her Russian-Ukrainian heritage and use her Russian language skills to bring to life one of the hero’s foes.
