One of the most extraordinary and, perhaps, neglected cinematic voices of the 1970s and ‘80s is coming to Atlanta’s Plaza Theatre – not only on the screen, but in person.
Alan Rudolph is a filmmaker known for eccentric ensemble casts, moody romances, unforgettable scores and dream-like stories that defy narrative convention. He’s often compared to his mentor and frequent collaborator, Robert Altman.
Two Alan Rudolph films, 1984’s “Choose Me” starring Keith Carradine and 1978’s “Remember My Name” with Geraldine Chaplin and Anthony Perkins, will screen at the Plaza with a live Q&A from the director on April 10 and 12.
