“Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Statements” at the High Museum
Atlanta’s High Museum of Art is the exclusive U.S. venue for “Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Statements,” a comprehensive retrospective celebrating over three decades of avant-garde couture by Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren.
Curator Thierry-Maxime Loriot describes the pair as “fashion artists” who blurred boundaries between art and couture long before the industry caught up. Their bold, often surreal designs, from slogan-covered tulle gowns to upside-down silhouettes, have been worn by celebrities such as Julie Roberts and Zendaya.
