U.S. Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock and GOP challenger Herschel Walker are preparing to square up in Savannah tonight.
It might be their only debate ahead of the state midterm elections in a few weeks. It’s also a highly anticipated one.
In Georgia, two Black men have never run against each other for that Senate seat. It’s Walker, a legendary University of Georgia football star, against Warnock, senior pastor of Atlanta’s Ebenezer Baptist Church, a congregation that was once headed by Martin Luther King Jr. and played a historic role in the Civil Rights Movement.
