Day 2 of a hotly-anticipated hearing is taking place in a Fulton County courtroom on Friday, as a judge weighs whether District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified from prosecuting the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and 14 others.

More than half of the remaining co-defendants facing criminal charges for alleged efforts to interfere with the 2020 election result, including Trump, are accusing Willis of a conflict of interest and asking Fulton Superior Judge Scott McAfee to dismiss the charges against them.

The defendants are accusing Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade of enriching themselves by funding vacation travel together with Wade’s compensation from the case.

Willis, Wade and others took the stand on the first day of the hearing on Thursday in testimony that seesawed between the tedious and dramatic.
