Labor Day is an American holiday staple. Whether it’s your indication that you can no longer wear white, a sign of the transition from summer to fall or simply a day off, Labor Day is a day workers are undoubtedly looking forward to all over the country.
First recognized by some municipalities in 1885, Labor Day quickly spread throughout the country and became nationally recognized in 1894, according to the U.S. Department of labor.
