Though Senators in Washington rejected a bill last week that would eliminate tax breaks for employers who outsource jobs, legislators here in Georgia continue to fight to “Bring Jobs Home”.
Democratic State Senator, Nan Orrock and State Representative Virgil Fludd were joined by labor leaders as they announced their renewed efforts to “Bring Jobs Home”. Orrock says nothing is more American than creating jobs.
“We believe Georgians and all Americans deserve better than to have our tax dollars supporting jobs overseas while in our own state of Georgia, unemployment hovers at 9-10 % and in some areas of state, far worse.”
