It’s a yearly tradition for cadets to run in the Atlanta’s Finest 5k. Major Jeff Glazier is director of the Atlanta Police Academy. He says not only does this help raise money for the Atlanta Crimestoppers program, but there’s a lot of comradery for the police in this race. “Well you know, this is a great way for all of us to come out and support the community, and for the community to support us. And we just have a great time out there. We sing loud and we show out.”
All of the cadets run together in formation chanting cadences the entire way.
