Big changes are coming to one of the largest nonprofit, nonpartisan civic engagement organizations in the state of Georgia.

Nsé Ufot, the CEO of the New Georgia Project and its affiliate, New Georgia Project Action Fund, is stepping down from her post following the mid-term elections.

On Friday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Ufot told program host Rose Scott that she’s done an extraordinary job leading the organization but admitted that she would have liked to have done a better job growing its donor base.
