Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger gave testimony on Thursday to the special grand jury convened in Fulton County over alleged meddling in the 2020 election by former President Donald Trump and others. Raffensperger’s testimony was not public, but he was on the other end of the infamous phone call from Trump on Jan. 2, 2021 when the former president asked him “to find 11,780 votes.”

Raffensperger refused the request and he along with several other Republicans in the state, who refused to illegally overturn the election, felt the ire of Trump and his most ardent supporters.

Several audits of Georgia’s elections showed there was no widespread voter fraud and Trump lost the state’s electoral votes.
