Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp beat Democratic challenger Stacey Abrams on Tuesday in a rematch of the state’s last governor’s race. Abrams called Kemp to concede, according to his campaign. Both took to the stage at their election night watch parties around 11:30 p.m.
Kemp was leading Abrams by about 300,000 votes with 88% of votes counted as of 11:59 p.m., according to the Associated Press.
