Judge strikes down Georgia abortion law, but legal analyst says fight is far from over

Georgia’s restrictive abortion law banning the procedure after about 6 weeks is blocked for now.

A Fulton County Superior Court judge ruled Tuesday parts of H.B. 481 were unconstitutional when the law was created and enacted in 2019.

It wasn’t fully in place until the summer of this year, when the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
