This holiday season, the Humane Society of the United States is urging pet owners to protect their pets.
On Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look,” Lindsay Hamrick, director of Shelter Outreach and Engagement for the Humane Society of the United States, talked with program host Rose Scott about holiday safety tips for pets.
“The one nugget I would love folks to be cognitive of this holiday season is the toxins that are available to pets, those can come in the form of food because of all of the yummy goodies that we have on the table this time of year and can also come in the form of holiday plants, “ said Hamrick.
