The 2016 nominees for vice president, Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia and Republican Gov. Mike Pence of Indiana, face off Tuesday night at 9 p.m. onstage at Longwood University in Virginia. This is the only vice presidential debate of the 2016 election season.
This event follows last week’s debate between their presidential counterparts, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, at Hofstra Univserity in New York.
