In a city exploding with theatrical creativity, one local aerialist and contortionist hopes to take Atlanta’s cirque community to the next level. Lacy Elian is the founder of AveNoir, a cirque performance company of acrobats and movement artists who perform mind-bending body magic at events, film shoots, parties and theater stages all over town. In this interview, “City Lights” producer Summer Evans spoke with Lacy Elian about cirque dance and acrobatics.
