The DeKalb Entertainment Commission‘s job is to build business relationships with Georgia’s constantly expanding entertainment industry, including film, television, music and digital media.
They connect productions to local businesses that can provide support services, as well as get local creatives involved in the industry.
Shelbia Jackson is director of the DeKalb Entertainment Commission, and she joined WABE’s “All Things Considered” to talk about how the county helped the industry get through the strike.
