Crowds gathered in downtown Atlanta for the annual Dragon Con Parade Saturday morning. Spectators came early and lined the streets to watch storm troopers, superheroes and other cosplayers.
A handful of notable guests made appearances in the parade including Caroll Spinney, the puppeteer behind Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, Jyoti Amge, who was on the fourth season of “American Horror Story” and is known the smallest living woman in the world, comedians Jonah Ray and Joel Hodgson from Netflix’s “Mystery Science Theater: 3,000” and more.
Cosplayers dressed up as characters from “Star Wars,” “Black Panther,” “The Handmaid’s Tale” and more. Others mixed and matched costumes. A life-sized R2-D2 rolled down the street, and Captain America came riding a motorcycle.
