Sumayyah Yoonas understands that life doesn’t always go as planned. From Dubai to the United States, she once had dreams of becoming a doctor.
However, during the pandemic, things changed for the now 2025 Georgia Gwinnett College graduate. She discovered another calling: teaching.
For “Closer Look’s” Class of 2025 graduation series, she spoke with show host Rose Scott about navigating online college courses during the pandemic and caring for one of her children after they were diagnosed with a serious condition.
