Beloved character actor Richard Kind has compared his career to a river – ebbing and flowing. But after his prolific decades in the business, Kind told the New York Times, “You find out your career has become an ocean.”

Still, despite acclaimed roles like Bing Bong in “Inside Out,” Arthur Gopnik in the Coen Brothers’ “A Serious Man” and his currently recurring role on TV’s “Only Murders in the Building,” the actor insists he’s not famous, and he likes it that way.

To make his case, Kind will appear live on stage at Atlanta Symphony Hall on July 19 for “How Not to Be Famous: A Conversation with Richard Kind.”
