Liberal and conservative interest groups have boosted their door-to-door campaigning in Georgia this election cycle.
You might have gotten a knock from Heritage Action, a grassroots lobbying group that pushes to pass conservative policies in Washington. The group told WABE it has knocked on more than 100,000 doors in the metro Atlanta area since the November presidential election.
Georgia native Noah Weinrich is Heritage Action’s press secretary in Washington. He spoke with WABE’s “All Things Considered” host Jim Burress about knocking on doors during the coronavirus pandemic during the high-stakes Senate runoffs.
