Atlanta-based UPS is cutting another 30,000 operational positions and closing two dozen facilities this year, CFO Brian Dykes said during Tuesday’s earnings conference call.

“This will be accomplished through attrition, and we expect to offer a second voluntary separation program for full-time drivers,” said Dykes.

Twenty-four buildings will close in the first half of the year as well, but that number could grow as officials evaluate additional buildings for closure later in the year.
