DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County School District has made major changes to the previous school closure list, including new closures, a potential Clarkston High School modernization and shifts across the district.

In this scenario, DeKalb School of the Arts, Kittredge Magnet School, DeKalb Arts Academy, Wadsworth Magnet School, Elizabeth Andrews High School and DeKalb Early College Academy would all be moved elsewhere.

The announcement went into specifics for each cluster, outlining possible grade-band changes and alternative uses for the closed buildings. Full maps, explanations, and when each construction project will take place are all listed on the district’s website.
