Jai Ferrell always dreamed of changing the world. Now, as the CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, she said the role allows her to empower girls and teens.

“We are building girls of courage, confidence, and character,” Ferrell said. “If we’re looking for solutions in our communities, if we’re looking for the leaders of the future, it starts with Girl Scouts.”

Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta was established in 1921 and now serves more than 35,000 members across 35 Georgia counties. The council’s mission goes far beyond the well‑known cookie program; it aims to empower girls and help them build essential life skills. Its programming focuses on STEM, leadership development, community service, entrepreneurship, outdoor experiences and more.
