Politics roundtable focuses on governor’s race, political party switches and more

The 2026 Georgia gubernatorial election is fast approaching. With just over a year and a few months to election day,  more and more candidates are entering the race.

Amid this, there is a lot of political news happening in Georgia, including the recent deadly shooting at the Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and former Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan switching from the Republican Party to the Democratic Party.
