Metro Atlanta leaders search for solutions to regional housing crisis

Rent and home prices in Atlanta are rising faster than wages, according to a new survey from the Atlanta Regional Commission.

Affording a home remains a major concern not only for metro Atlanta residents but for families across the region.

“It’s a dire need for housing, affordable housing,” said Gregory White, executive director of A Home For Everyone In DeKalb, a nonprofit dedicated to reducing homelessness in DeKalb County.
