On City Lights’ series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices.
In today’s segment, we feature Atlanta singer and musician Zakiya Harmony. “I would describe my music as a mix of sultry R&B and soulful music,” Harmony said. “I do play several instruments. I play the guitar, saxophone and the baritone.”
The Atlanta native got started in music at about nine years old when she started playing the saxophone. But taught herself how to play the guitar in 2015.
