On City Lights’ series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share work and stories in their own voices. Today we feature Tom Cheshire or TCB (Tom Cheshire Band). Cheshire performs on piano, drums, cajón (wood beatbox) and lead vocals.
“Loved music my whole life. Grew up around it. My family always had music playing. I was just a huge fan. Then naturally [I] started writing songs and dancing to my own beat, writing my own songs and trying to share them with the world,” says Cheshire. “Some of them are love songs and some of them might even be called anti-love songs.”
In Atlanta, Cheshire likes to visit venues like the Earl and the Star Bar.
